I seek to find a balance between my wants and needs, between the ways of the world and the hopes in my heart. I’m silently becoming the woman I’m meant to be, learning what it means to be strong and strong enough to keep learning that I am more than enough during the process.

When I found my voice and began talking about my struggles with colorism and my experiences from childhood to adult years, I received an influx of messages from multiple women.

 

They not only connected to my feelings and experiences but also appreciated that I put words to things they had been struggling with for years. My desire to help other women outweighs the fear that comes with sharing my experiences publicly. Finding my voice has become not only an outlet for myself but a tool to help others as well. I am a logomaniac, and writing is my gift!
